Marquess Estate

For three years I lived on the Marquess Estate in Islington, North London. Shortly before leaving I took these photos, both of things I had noticed many times before and images that just caught my eye that day.

My flat was part of Alamo Housing Co-op which manages properties due for demolition. Today much of the estate has been refurbished, and there have been attempts to rebrand it as New River Green, but I suspect it'll always be known as the Marquess.

I haven't named any of the photos since I think they pretty much speak for themselves. The last one is a self-portrait taken in the lift.
