Frequently asked questions

What kind of shirts are they?
100% pre-shrunk heavy weight Eco cotton. The Eco cotton is unbleached (more environmental) leaving them beige in colour with a scattering of small dark specks. They stand up well to washing machines without fading or losing shape.

What are the exact sizes?
Here are the chest measurements (taken from armpit seam to armpit seam on a flat surface): Small 47cm/18.5in, (Sold out Medium 52cm/20.5in), Large 56cm/22in, Extra Large 60cm/23.5in, (Sold out Double Extra Large 66cm/26in)
For all shirts the artwork is 30cm/12in across

Who designed the shirt?
Many Fibsters submitted designs to our competition. SlickWill came up with the winning concept, cyan is responsible for the FIBS logo, alef created the artwork for the printers.

Why is the final design so different from the winning one?
Unfortunately we only had a low resolution version of SlickWill's artwork and no easy way to get that printed and look professional. After much consideration it was decided to simplify it to the flat style and also to use colours keeping the FIBS logo in its correct orange and blue. Some people prefer the final design, others don't... you can't please all the people all of the time!

A few quotes from shirt buyers

mamabear: Love the design of these new FIBS t-shirts :0) Be a trendsetter...be the first in your chouette to have one!

jasonj: from a screenprinter's standpoint, the inks have a nice, soft hand. To the layman, this means that the print feels soft and you won't get sweaty because of the ink.

Ramberg: The T-shirt arrived safely. Thanks a lot, waiting for a proper occasion, wedding, baptism etc where I can wear it!
