Apparently, one Thanksgiving when I was small, Travis's friends had been teasing him about Avery having read more Kierkeggard than he had. So, on Thanksgiving one year, he remained in the bathtub for several hours, even missing dinner at his mom's, because he was determined to stay in there until he'd read more than Brenda!

He evenutally came out, so I assume he either completed his reading or got hungry.

This story sounds so like my dad, and was told to me in the huffy way that ex's have with each other, so I imagine that it's true. How like him.

Thais-off to the bath to read book 8 in Katherine Kerr's series about Deverry and the Westlands. The dragon is coming to break the siege, and will the dwarven armies get there in time? The first book in this series, "Daggerspell" is quite excellent. However, I only have but one hour to spend in the bath tonight, and five of those minutes will be spent in actual washing.
